Purpose of the Webpage

The purpose of this website is two-fold:

1. To support my wish to be involved in the politics of my local community, the State and Federal Governments of Australia, and
2. To provide prospective voters with a comprehensive understanding of who "Kevin Loughrey" is in order to inform them as to whether I am worthy of their vote.

Those principles that influence my political thinking

My political thinking is best characterised by the election flier illustrated in Fig 1. This was used in my campaign of March, 2023; running for the seat of Ballina in the State of New South Wales. In that one page flier, I state that I will:

1. faithfully represent the interests and concerns of my constituents, free from the intrigues of petty party politics and the agendas of political activists and commercial entities that parties invariabley attract; and
2. work as a State Parliamentarian towards:
   • Causing a five-fold reduction in the cost of electricity and halving the cost of fuel;
   • Building dams to reduce flooding and provide water & food security;
   • Preventing the Government from interfering with your relationship with your doctor as it did during COVID where Government bureaucrats prohibited doctors from prescribing effective early treatment; causing thousands of needless deaths-not to mention forcing on people an ineffective, dangerous, experimental gene therapy, now responsible for an excess mortality greater than 15%;
   • Ensuring that all Australians, regardless of race or gender, are treated exactly the same under the law and entitled to exactly the same benefits; and
   • Reducing the cost of housing and rentals by increasing supply and reducing unnecessary, costly regulation.
   • Addressing the causes of domestic violence and, through that means significantly reducing its incidence.

During that campaign which culminated in State elections on 25th March 2023, where I gained around 8% of the vote, the following additional election fliers were produced:

• Climate Change.  This page goes into detail about matters related to the subject of climate change. It is the result of many hours of research into the subject. The results of this were surprising. The earth's atmosphere is not warming as claimed. Over the last 100+ years it has been cooling in fits and starts. We are soon to enter a Grand Solar Minimum where it will become considerably cooler. The Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere has no appreciable warming effect whatsoever.
• COVID-19.  This page provides facts about COVID-19 and then presents a plan as to how it and future health crises of this type should be handled. It also provides some suggestions as to what the Government should do so at to be better prepared for the next health emergency. There is no doubt there will be further ones in the future.
• Ideas and Opinions.  This lists the many ideas that I have for reducing the cost of Government whilst improving the services it delivers to citizens.
• Contact me.  This gives you details as to how I might be contacted.
• Donate  All campaigns and projects invariably involve the expenditure of money so donations to help me carry out my work are always appreciated.
